Before entering private practice, Ms. Blackmore was a trial lawyer for the Hartford Insurance Company and GEICO Insurance Company and tried cases on behalf of State Farm Insurance Company. Robert Blackmore has an extensive, unique, and varied legal background. He is a former judge, a former assistant United States Attorney, and a former Assistant State Attorney. While working for the Broward County State Attorney's Office, Mr. Blackmore served as the Chief of the Organized Crime/Drug Trafficking Division. This time spent as a former judge and as an attorney for both the state of Florida and the United States has given Mr. Blackmore invaluable courtroom experience and a thorough understanding of aggressive and effective courtroom tactics.
